Making History at Galle Face Green!
On February 25, 2018, Sri Lanka proudly hosted its first-ever IRONMAN 70.3 event, putting our nation firmly on the global triathlon map! With over 3,000 participants and their families joining us from an incredible 63 countries, the event was a spectacular display of endurance and spirit right here in Colombo.
This landmark day began with a refreshing swim in the Indian Ocean, followed by a challenging bike leg and a final run, all centered around the iconic Galle Face Green. It was a massive success, officially recognized as the “Best Inaugural Long Distance Race in Asia” by AsiaTri!
